If you manage to fight off four sewer rats and barely make it out alive there’s a big chance that the next step you’ll take will be on a hidden trap that kills you. Right off the bat, Pixel Dungeon is not an easy game and that applies literally to your chances of winning. And if it does, it’s almost a certainty that where you stepped last time, is now full of traps.
This means that there’s a very slim chance of you seeing a room that looks familiar. Explore a random world that’s full of traps and monstersĪpart from its charismatic look, Pixel Dungeon also comes with a very large number of randomly created levels in which monsters are random, item placement is random and traps are random. It’s a casual game that takes you on a quest through a seemingly never ending dungeon to find the mysterious Amulet of Yendor. If you’re into little roguelike games and have a special place in your heart for those created using pixel art, then Pixel Dungeon is the one for you.
